Job Description

The Farm Ventures is looking for a developer who is comfortable working the entire stack. At The Farm, we currently use a variety of languages and frameworks such as NativeScript, Laravel, React and JavaScript. You will work directly with our team to help develop our current products such as Off and Pacing and Catch Driver. Can you take data from a database, return it through an API and create a frontend view to display that data? Do you have experience developing for mobile platforms? Are you tired of working on boring old client projects?

About The Farm

The Farm Ventures aka The Farm is a web app and game studio. We have developed 2 successful, profit generating mobile games 'Off and Pacing' and 'Catch Driver'. We are continuing to grow our team to develop these products and new products. Come join our start-up and help us build awesome products!

Qualifications

- 3-5 Years experience in Web Development or Web Application environments.
- Expert in JavaScript.
- Experience with backend languages such as PHP.
- Experience retrieving data from, and writing API endpoints.
- Experience with MySQL and writing database queries.
- Knowledge and willingness to achieve test driven development
- Experience with React, Angular or similar frameworks

Nice to Have

- Experience with mobile frameworks such as NativeScript, React Native.
- Experience with HTML5 Canvas.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery.
- Experience with WebSocket protocol.
- Experience with command line tools such as npm, git, etc.
- Active in Github and Stack Overflow communities.
